Objectives
To ensure that all supplier invoices received are correctly recorded & coded, and that payments are made in a timely manner.
Duties
Supplier Transactions
Receive, register & approve, where possible, supplier invoices and credit notes
Liaise with respective contacts regarding overdue accounts
Reconcile statements and action as necessary
Maintain records for purchase invoice queries
Prepare and action a regular payment run in accordance with company payment policy
Clear open items
Supplier Records
Add and maintain supplier address & contact details
Record, update and maintain a record of supplier bank details
Miscellaneous
To work effectively within the Organisation by providing support, where required, to all members of the Organisation
To provide suggestions for increased efficiency within the department and/or Organisation
To use company assets with appropriate diligence and care
To assist in the development & training of colleagues
To take on any other duties that may reasonably be asked of you
